Fantastic app, very poor documentation in English. I may have to try google translating the Korean pages to see if they're more helpful. Though maybe most of these pages were google-translated from Korean to begin with; sometimes I can't tell.

The features in Springnote are very impressive, but there is one big issue for me; the lack of security or https encryption. The FAQs give a long-winded explanation of how Springnote basically believes that it is not good to place any sensitive data up on the web and how doing so would ruin the user experience. Give me a break! Reality check: We all use secure websites like banks and web based email accounts and we routinely enter in private and confidential information. Of course, no security system is foolproof, but if you accept Springnote's logic, you should never ever trust anything on the Internet as being secure. That just ignorant. Look, banks and major Fortune 500 companies around the world trust these protocols with billions of dollars and they still find a way to present a useful user experience. Does Springnote really think they are all wrong? So I have to wonder why I would choose Springnote over other alternatives that are secure. I would really be limited in what I would choose to input or upload to Springnote; so why bother? I say that Springnote needs to stop the excuses and just put the time and resources into creating the necessary security modifications. This will improve their service and give their users some confidence. If nothing else, at least provide an https option and educate us and give us a choice. Otherwise, I'd recommend users look elsewhere for their online notetaking needs.

Hi alma32// Thank you for your post. I see your point. I just want to say that we will support more security options as we continue to grow. There are some tradeoffs to support secure protocols and Speed will be the biggest tradeoff. This is something we can't give up easily. However, as you mention, it would be good if users can choose between options. I can't say when we are going to support an https feature but we will keep working on improving our service. Thank you!

Suddenly I can not edit any pages on one only of my computers. I tells me to press Control-F5 as page is incomplete loading. This action has no effect. I can view pages normally. The problem is the same with both IE8 and Chrome - both of which work fine on another computer. Any suggestions?

can I filter by icons? like it is nice to be able to put a cool icon next to an item in a list but can I then sort by it? (ala, OneNote...)

TonyC// Unfortunately, you can't sort when using the icon list. if you want to move icons freely use the icons under Emoticons (the smily face icon on the toolbar)

I love springnote. However, ARE YOU GUYS STILL IN SERVICE? I SEE NO RECENT UPDATES, AND NO COMMUNICATION FROM THE DEVELOPERS. I'd hate to setup my neighborhood notebook only to have it taken down if the springnote guys go out of business. PLEASE LET ME KNOW!
