Springnote's Transformation Story - Chapter 3 / Part 2 [ New Features ]
Hey everyone~ This is the Springnote team.
It's been about a month since we've posted release notes. So you're probably wondering what has changed during the last month, right?
As we have previewed in our last release we have now added email invitations, importing contacts from an external address book, and also multi-uploading among other things.
So, let's check out what has changed so far.
" More insertion options and simplified sharing "
-
Multi file uploading
We have now added the much demanded multi-uploading feature. So now users can upload more than one file at a time.
This is now supported in Microsoft Internet Explorer 6/7 along with Firefox 2 (Springnote's offically supported browser). We are planning to add support on the Mac as well :)
-
Inserting video~
You can now embed videos from external sources by just adding the embed code provided by streaming video providers such as YouTube.
You can also watch your embedded videos while you are editing in your editing space! =)
-
Inserting extermal image URLs!
By just inputting the image URL you can have the image inserted on your page or you can even have it as a file attachment by clicking the check box.
-
Email Invitation and Importing an Address Book
Originally, you had to know a person's OpenID in order to share pages. Now you can send an invitation to others by just inputting their email address.
You can also import address books from your G Mail account and share your pages~
-
More Bullet List Icons
Originally Springnote had a total of 5 icons. We have now added 8 more bullet list icons (shown above) for a total of 13 icons.
(You can find those icons by clicking the special character list
button)
We ask that everyone continues to leave comments and feedback related to our latest release on either or forums or by sending an email to springnote@openmaru.com.
We'll continue to work hard on improving Springnote! Thanks to all our users!
