Springnote - July 28 Release Notes - "New Plug-Ins"
Hey everyone, this is the Springnote team.
This is our eighth release note. =)
As mentioned in our last release, we are continually working on our new UI along with interlinking address books with Springnote. We are continuing picking new features from features and funcitons that have been suggested in our Springnote community. Although usually suggested features and functions that we pick are selected in two week intervals, those features will now be slowly worked on. In this release, we will introduce new, useful features through utilization of plug-ins. Temporarily, although we will not have any huge changes to Springnote, you can expect small convenient changes that we will be working on.
We are listening ot various suggestions made by users that are using Springnote for projects and group collaboration. We ask that you continue to leave feedback and suggestions in our Springnote forum. We will announce newly picked features through our release notes.
So, let's look at what's been going on for the past two weeks.
Hot issues!
-
The manual of Zeroboard XE, the succeeding version of Zeroboard, is currently being produced in Springnote. If you post a manual in the Documentation/Translation board in Zeroboard XE's homepage and register yourself as a manual writer, you can also receive writing permission in Springnote. We ask for your contributions in Zeroboard XE! =)

You can now post to your blog directly with Springnote. You can now easily post to blogs from places without a separate database. Your replies will be saved on me2day.net. Currently Deepblue, a Springnote developer, is working on a project called slugger.

What's changed in Springnote in the past two weeks (July 31, 2007)
New feature: View in Full Screen
- Do you want to have a more wider editing space while using Springnote? Along with hiding the left and right side panels, you can now hide the global navigation bar and toolbar located at the top of the screen with our new "Full Screen" mode.
- Click the [Menu] button located on the top right portion of the page and then click [Full Screen] to enable full screen editing.
- From [Full Screen] mode, if you want to convert back into regular viewing mode, from the [Menu] button, click [Default Screen].
- You can also use keyboard shortcut Ctrl+Alt+M to toggle between hiding the left and right side panels and full screen mode.
New Plug-Ins
To increase Springnote's functionality, we have added 4 new plug-ins.
To activate plug-ins go to 'Settings' > 'Plug-In Settings' and under the 'Use' column, choose between 'On' and 'Off' to enable or disable plugins.
The following list is a list of the new plug-ins that have been added.

We feel that there is still a lot of work to do with our new plug-ins. Please give your feature requests and report bugs in our community page. We hope that the addition of these new plug-ins will enable more convenient usage of Springnote. =)
We will continue to update everyone with new release notes every two weeks. Through support from all our users, Springnote is gradually growing and continuing to expand. We ask for your support and we will continue to work hard in improving Springnote.
Thanks to everyone~
