Screen Settings

     Springnote's Edit Mode offers users a wide variety of customizing how they view the screen. While in Edit Mode, users can expand the Editing Space while hiding the Page Navigation Panel (left) and Book Mark Panel. The size of each panel can also be adjusted or, even, hidden.


Full Screen

Expand: To view your editing space in full screen click the Full Screen icon located on the top right corner of the editing space.

Unexpand: To go back to normal viewing, click the Full Screen icon.

Keyboard Shortcut to toggle screen modes

To toggle between different viewing modes, press Ctrl + Alt + M

  1. During normal viewing, pressing the keyboard shortcut will hide the left and right panels.
  2. Pressing the keyboard shortcut again will have the viewing mode changed into full screen mode.
  3. From full screen mode, pressing the keyboard shortcut will have the viewing mode changed back to normal viewing.



Hide the side panels

To hide side panels, just click the arrow button that is vertically centered between the editing space and panel.

You can also change the width of these panels by placing the mouse cursor over the area that divides the panel and editing space.

  • You can hide both panels with keyboard shortcut Ctrl + Alt + M. (Pressing the keyboard shortcut again will change the viewing mode to full screen mode)
