4. Edit Mode

Springnote's Edit Mode can be divided into 7 different parts as shown in the image below. To learn more about each part, click the link of the corresponding area below.

Bookmark Panel

Area on the right side of the screen during Edit Mode that displays bookmarks. Bookmarks can be added and deleted from this panel. This panel can only be viewed during Edit Mode when viewing notebooks that a user owns or joined Group Notebooks. Clicking the right arrow icon that is between the Bookmark Panel and Page Editing Space will hide the Bookmark Panel. The size of the Bookmark Panel can also be adjusted by clicking the dividing section (above or below the right arrow) and dragging left or right. (Learn more)

 

Global Navigation Bar

The Global Navigation Bar is the area on the top portion of the screen that shows information on a user's current location (left portion) and user-relevant links (right portion) when signed in. The Global Navigation Bar is always visible and can be used to sign into (right portion) Springnote. Once signed in, the right portion of the Global Navigation Bar will display user-relative links. Page Editing Space

Area on the middle of the screen that is used when editing a page's content in Edit Mode. The top portion of this area includes the page title (Personal Notebooks only), sharing options (Personal Notebooks only), View Mode, Page Menu, and Screen Settings. (Learn more)

 

Page Information Bar

Area that displays Linked Pages, File Attachments, Comments, Tags, and Page History. (Learn more)

 

Page Navigation Panel

The Page Navigation Panel is the area on the left side of the screen where a user can search for pages and content by keyword, see recent updates, all pages, and a list of tags. Clicking the Left Arrow icon that is between the Page Navigation Panel and Page Editing Space will hide the Page Navigation Panel. The size of the Page Navigation Panel can also be adjusted by clicking the dividing section (above or below the Left Arrow) and dragging left or right. (Learn more)

 

Settings

Clicking this button will navigate you to the Settings menu which includes Notebook Settings, Blog Settings, and Plug-in Settings. This button is only visible to the notebook owner. (Learn more)

 

Toolbar

The Toolbar in Springnote's editor allows for users to make use of a wide variety of tools that range from text formatting tools to additional plug-ins that extends the functionality of Springnote. (Learn more)
