Group Notebooks
Group Notebooks are notebooks that can have affiliated members. Group Notebooks are great for school projects, group scheduling, or for a group of people that have the same interests. All members of a Group Notebook have write/read access. Group Notebooks can be distinguished by its brown color. To learn how to create a Group Notebook, click here.
Add / Remove a Group Member
To manage group members click the Manage link as shown in the image to the right. This area allows Group Notebook owners can send messages, invite, and remove members. Please note that only Group Notebook owners can use this feature. Learn more.
Inviting Members
To invite others to your Group Notebook click the Invite link as shown in the image to the right. Invitations can be made by inputting a person's OpenID or e-mail address. Please note that only Group Notebook owners can invite others. Learn more.
Joining a Group Notebook
To join a Group Notebook, from View Mode click Join this notebook to join. Members of a Group Notebook all have write access, giving all members access to Edit Mode. Depending on the settings of the notebook, member approval is either automatic or manual, requiring the notebook owner's approval. To learn more on Group Notebook settings, click here.
Privacy Settings
Privacy Settings for Group Notebooks are set up when initially creating a Group Notebook. Therefore, setting a Group Notebook to private will have all pages within the Group Notebook private, while having the notebook set as public will have all pages within the notebook public, being accessible to anyone. Sending a message to other members
This feature allows Group Notebook owners to send messages to all members of their Group Notebook. This can be accessed by either clicking Members or Manage. Users that receive messages will get receive the message by e-mail and in their Inbox. (Learn more).
