Personal Notebooks

Privacy and sharing for Personal Notebooks are very flexible, providing users with options to customize pages individually giving certain users writing or read access. 

Inviting / Setting up Collaborators

From any Personal Notebook page in your Springnote account, click the the Share button located on the top right corner of the editing space for the Share this page dialog box to appear.

1. To allow only reading access

   Click the Viewers: Read Only radio button and input the OpenID of who you want to invite. When you are finished, click the Share button.

2. To allow both reading and writing access

   Click the Collaborators: Write and Read radio button and input the OpenID of who you want to invite. When you are finished, click the Share button.
   

Sharing inheritance for sub-pages

From the Share this page dialog box, click Option to expand the dialog box for options on applying the same sharing settings for sub-pages.

From here, click Change
for an option to apply the same sharing settings to sub-pages. Once you are finished, click the Submit button.

Removing Collaborators

To remove collaborators, first click the Share button.

You will see a dialog box as shown below. From here click the [x] button in the corresponding row to remove a collaborator.

(You can also click Remove All to remove all set collaborators.)
