Welcome to the New Springnote!
We're pleased to announce our biggest update since the original launch of the English version of Springnote. Now, before we get started talking about what's new and what's been updated we want to first thank all our users for their patience and support. We've been continually fixing bugs and listening to what our users want with our service which is what led us up to this major update.
Here's a list of what's new and what's been updated:
-
Notebooks are now divided into two types: Personal Notebooks and Group Notebooks
-
Personal Notebook
A notebook that is initially used for personal usage, but also allows you to share pages individually for others to read and write on.
-
Group Notebook
A notebook where only group members can read, write, and share for projects and work that requires collaboration.
-
- Springnote now has a separate View Mode with a design made for easy reading.
-
Dashboard - a place where you can see all your notebooks and recent updates.
- Add to Watch List - a feature where users can add notebooks of other users to a list.
- Inbox - a place where you can check all received requests, invitations, messages, and notifications.
-
Comments - a feature that allows users to leave comments on pages.
- Shared pages are no longer viewable from a notebook (in Edit Mode) and has moved to the Dashboard.
- Users can change the notebook type from a Personal Notebook into a Group Notebook. (This is not reversible or interchangeable)
- You can now change the owner of a notebook and give ownership to your friend as a gift.
Along with the list above, we have made vast improvements on the overall functionality of Springnote by fixing bugs and errors. We are still continuing to work hard in improving the overall user experience in Springnote.
