Have you ever seen this message “Page was not found” or "The page cannot be found" when you open a page your friend shared? Or have you experienced not being able to see your pages after signing?
There are two possible cases when you cannot see a page you want.
1. The page does not exist.
2. The page is private.
If it is a private page, the existence of the page is also private. The only people who can see the page are collaborators who are invited by the owner. Therefore, Springnote displays the message “Page not found”
If you have signed out, even though you are the owner of the page, you will not be able to see the page either due to Springnote not being able to identify you as the owner.
If a page is private a lock icon will be displayed next to the page title on the top left area of the editing space.
1. Sign in at www.springnote.com
2. Create a new page by clicking the word ‘New’ on the toolbar. (Enter a title of the page and then click 'Create')
3. Click the words “Only I can write Only I can read” located at the top of the page
4. Click the words “Only I can read” on the dialogue
5. Select the option “Anyone can read”
6. Press the button “Share” located at the bottom of the dialogue.
