Creating a link to another Springnote page

You can use this when you want to create a link to another Springnote page within your notebook.While typing, by just pressing Ctrl + Space (or by clicking the [Link] button from the top toolbar), a dialog box will appear where you can create a link.

From here, if you just press the Enter key, you will create a link under the name shown.If a page of the name shown does not exist in your notebook, a new page under that name will be generated.


For example, if the page title "Trip" does not exist in your notebook, then a new page with the title "Trip" will becreated when you click the link.

Springnote also has an auto-complete feature which gives you hints on page titles by just pressing a few keys on the titlethat you are looking for. With this feature, you don't have to remember each page title word by word.


Creating external links

To create a link to an page outside of Springnote, use keyboard shortcut Ctrl + Space for a dialog box to appear.From the dialog box, just input a URL along with the label (name displayed on your page).

Related pages

If you create links between pages, you can see the how pages are related by clicking the 'Related pages' button on the bottom portion of the editor.Through actions of creating links with main pages, you can use this feature as you would use tags. For example, if you have subpages under a page, you can see the sub pages under the page or pages related to 'Springnote'. By having a link with the name 'Springnote', when going to that page you will be able to see a list of how many related pages it has as shown below.
