Why does the page have to be refreshed whenever I open a page?

Why does the page have to be refreshed whenever I open a page?

Springnote has been designed to refresh the whole page when a user opens a page. Here is the reason.

Let's say that you move to a page through links while reading or writing. At this moment, the browser is always set to the full screen. In this case, some web sites use 'iframe' that can refresh a part inside 'iframe' rather than the whole screen.

But why doesn't Springnote use 'iframe?'

If 'iframe' is used, the URL in the address bar on your browser may not be matched with the page content you are looking at. If this happens, problems will occur:

  • when a URL is added to your favorite list as a bookmark
  • when a URL is copied and shared with friends on instant messengers
