Why should I create links?
Why should I create links?
Springnote has a feature that will help you create links quickly on your page. There is even a keyboard shortcut that is pressing Ctrl + Space.
A link is a connecting as if clicking a word or a phrase jumps to a page that is related with the word and phrase. The term link refers to the term 'hyperlink'. Since the web has become a part of our lives, people thought that ‘hyperlink’ would innovate documents. However, ‘hyperlink’ did not change much except its interface. Springnote has been designed to help users to discover the possibility of ‘hyperlink’ and play with it.
Why do we care about linking? What are the merits of links? What is the concept of linking in Springnote?
You can write details about specific words or paragraphs. For example, you write “I like Stephen King’s novels” on Springnote. You can make a link on the word ‘Stephen King’ and create a page for ‘Stephen King’ you can write more about him.
You can write about a subject in debt.
If you link pages, pages that are created from these links will all be connected in some relation with words or subjects that you have chosen. Let’s say you write about cars and there are various types and different categories in cars. In this case, you can link pages based on the fuel usage like gasoline cars, electronic cars, diesel cars and hybrid cars at the same time you can create links based on the types of cars like SUVs, sports cars, sedan, coupes and trucks.
Springnote helps you find pages you want fast.
If you link pages to their related pages effectively, you can find pages you want fast. Particularly, due to all links in Springnote are two-way links. If you create a link on the word '24 hours' in the page 'drama' to the page 'Stephen King,' the 'Stephen King' page will be linked to the 'drama' page. Through these links, you will be able to find information you need by freely browsing related pages.
